Ministries :: St. George's Court
St. George's Court was established in 1985 through the vision of the Rev. Rev. John W. Price, then rector of St. George's Church, and funding from the Diocese of Texas and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Court is an affordable residential community for the elderly and persons with disabilities, consisting of 56 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom apartments in nine residential buildings. Nine of the apartments offer barrier-free accommodations for residents in wheelchairs.
St. George's Court is owned and operated by St. George's Senior Housing, Inc., a nonprofit organization affiliated with St. George's Church. Its board is composed of both members and non-members of St. George's. A full-time professional social services coordinator provides resident services and coordinates social activities.
